Ronnie has paid tribute to his friend and fellow musician Toots Hibbert, who sadly passed away yesterday (Friday 11th September) at the age of 77.
Sharing a video and photo of the both of them to social media, Ronnie shared his memories of the reggae pioneer and Toots and the Maytals frontman, writing:
“I’d like to send my condolences to the Hibbert family for my dear friend Toots Hibbert who passed away on Friday. I have very happy memories of playing with him over the years, a lovely man and a great talent. Here we are talking about my favourite song of his, ‘Pressure Drop’. God bless Toots. Toots and the Maytals’ music will live on!”
